What Does This Do?
This utility installs the VAIO Edit Components software upgrade and provides support for the following editing functions and features for Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 software:
HD video editing and Proxy editing
Smart rendering
Encoding with the Sony® video codec
Upconversion from SD (standard definition) image quality to HD image quality
Support for x. v. Color mode
Various VAIO original video transitions
Provides the feature to export a high resolution picture file from a video
Support for 24 Mbps AVCHD file format
Provides the feature to export high quality unconverted pictures
Support for Windows 7
Support for Windows Vista® SP2 (Service Pack 2)
Support for Premiere Pro CS4 4.1 or newer
Support for Adobe Premiere Elements 8
Support for 'Export Click to Disc Editor Project' function
Support for AVC GPU encoding (NVIDIA Gfx which supports CUDA is required)
Instructions:
To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
Download the SOAVEC-00211394-1060.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SOAVEC-00211394-1060.EXE file to begin the installation.
At the "User Account Control" screen, click "Yes".
At the "VAIO Edit Components Upgrade Program" screen, click "Next".
At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree" to continue with the installation.
At the 'VAIO Edit Components - InstallShield Wizard' screen, click 'Next'.
At the "Finish" screen, click "Finish".
The installation of the VAIO Edit Components Upgrade Program is complete.
