Installation Instructions
Manual Install:
1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
The default location is C:DRIVERSWin5IN1
3. Click Start, then click Run...
4. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the
package in step 2, and click OK.
Example: C:DRIVERSWin5IN1SETUP.EXE
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
6. Click Finish to complete the installation and restart the system if
necessary.
Update install:
1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
The default location is C:DRIVERSWin5IN1
3. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
4. Double-click System.
5. Click the Hardware tab, then click Device Manager.
6. Right click the devices under IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers:
- Ricoh Memory Stick Host Controller
- Ricoh MMC Host COntroller
- Ricoh xD-Picture Card Host Controller
7. Click Update Driver Software... then click Browse my computer for
driver software.
8. Click Browse.. then choose the package extracted in step 2.
9. Click Next.
10. If necessary, restart the system.
Unattended Install:
Note: This is for system administrators use only.
1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
The default location is C:DRIVERSWin5IN1
3. Click Start, then click Run...
4. Specify "SETUP.EXE -s" with the full path name where you extracted the
package in step 2, and click OK. The driver will be installed
automatically.
Example: C:DRIVERSWin5IN1SETUP.EXE -s
5. If necessary, restart the system.
