1. Start SUSE Linux.
2. In a terminal window, type su (switch user) command to obtain root privileges.
3. Type uname -r to determine the RPM package
ex. 2.6.16.21-0.8-smp, then l79t14us-2.6.16-21-smp.rpm
ex. 2.6.16.21-0.8-bigsmp, then l79t14us-2.6.16-21-bigsmp.rpm
4. Copy the RPM file to the hard drive, for example, /home/tvt directory.
5. Change directory to the location where you saved the file.
6. Type rpm -ihv [Package Name].rpm.
ex. rpm -ihv l79t14us-2.6.16-21-smp.rpm
UNINSTALL:

1. Start SUSE Linux.
2. In a terminal window, type su (switch user) command to obtain root privileges.
3. Type rpm -e L79T.
Determining which version is installed:
---------------------------------------
In a terminal window, type rpm -qa L79T to display the current build
version of ThinkPad Configuration that is installed on the system.
