This package provides the Dell ControlPoint Security Manager Application and is supported on Latitude, Optiplex and Precision Models that are running the following Windows Operating Systems: Windows 7 and VISTA.

Download
1. Click Download File to download the file.
2. When the File Download window appears, click Save to save the file to your hard drive.
Installation
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file.
2. Read over the release information presented in the dialog window.
3. Download and install any prerequisites identified in the dialog window before proceeding.
4. Click the Install button.
5. Follow the remaining prompts to perform the update.
Hard Drive Installation (via WinZip) with Setup.exe File
Download
1.Click Download File, to download the file.
2. When the File Download window appears, click Save or Save this program to disk and click OK. The Save In: window appears.
3. From the Save In: field, click the down arrow then click to select Desktop and click Save. The file will download to your desktop.
4. If the Download Complete window appears, click Close. The file icon appears on your desktop.

-Fixed several issues with Self Encrypting Drives (SEDs) - Cannot access Seagate SED when unlocked
from Windows Explorer
Enhancements:
- Upgraded an initialized Samsung SED to DCP 1.4 causes drive to become unmanageable
- Upgraded a DCP 1.3 initialized SED to DCP 1.4 causes drive unlock to fail - DCP1.4 USC-FPassword prompt allows non-characters to be used
- Upgraded an initialized SED to DCP 1.4 causes TdmAuditLogger.exe to crash
- Preboot image will not be updated when upgrading a DCP 1.2 initialized SED
- PBM/TDM (SED/Trusted Drive) SSO will not work unless SSO is set from TDM o Adds support to automatically convert enrolled credentials in the 1.2 or 1.3 to work in 1.4.
